About You:

You’re a vibrant and enthusiastic teacher with a deep love for vocal music and children’s education. Your background in singing and teaching, combined with your passion for working with young children, makes you the ideal candidate to guide our K-2 students on their musical journey. You’re dedicated to creating a positive, inclusive, and fun learning environment that nurtures young voices and fosters a love for music.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate dynamic group singing lessons for K-2 students, adhering to the high standards of Phoenix Voice Academy.
  • Provide motivational and engaging instruction, focusing on singing techniques, musical games, and the development of young singers.
  • Offer constructive feedback and guidance, emphasizing child-friendly vocal techniques and group management strategies.
  • Create a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and a love for music.
  • Stay informed on current trends and developments in early childhood music education, integrating them into your teaching practices.
  • Maintain a professional and safe classroom/studio environment, ensuring a positive and organized atmosphere.
  • Uphold the academy’s standards and values, serving as a positive role model and ambassador for our students and staff.
  • Communicate openly with the academy’s management and parents, providing feedback and seeking support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in singing and/or teaching music, specifically to early elementary-age students.
  • Familiarity with singing techniques, musical games, child psychology, and group management techniques.
  • Exceptional patience, reliability, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with young children.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a dynamic teaching schedule.
  • An energetic and positive personality, capable of inspiring young students in a vibrant and engaging manner.
  • Applicable certifications, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, are preferred.
  • First aid and CPR certification is highly valued.
  • Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
