About You:

You’re a dynamic and inspiring teacher with a deep love for voice and music creation. Your background in singing and performing, combined with your passion for teaching, makes you the ideal candidate to guide our students on their vocal journey. You’re enthusiastic about the development of young singers and are committed to creating a positive and inclusive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach one-to-one singing lessons to students, adhering to the high standards for which Phoenix Voice Academy is known.
  • Provide dynamic and inspiring instruction, focusing on vocal techniques, music creation, and the development of young singers.
  • Offer constructive feedback and guidance, emphasizing vocal anatomy, acoustics, performance psychology, and performance techniques.
  • Create a supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, self-expression, and the pursuit of excellence.
  • Stay informed on current trends and developments in vocal pedagogy, integrating them into your teaching practices.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere in the classroom/studio, ensuring a safe and organized environment.
  • Uphold the academy’s standards and values, serving as a positive role model and ambassador for our students and staff.
  • Communicate openly with the academy’s management, providing feedback and seeking support when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in singing and/or singing teaching, with a strong foundation in vocal techniques and music creation.
  • Knowledge of vocal anatomy, acoustics, youth and performance psychology, and performance techniques.
  • Exceptional patience, reliability, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with students.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a dynamic teaching schedule.
  • An energetic and positive personality, capable of inspiring students in a vibrant and engaging manner.
  • First aid and CPR certification is highly valued.
  • Must successfully pass a background check as a condition of employment.
